NuSil’s extensive product offerings were available at their website but customers found it difficult to ascertain precisely which product would meet their needs. The solution: a customized search function that pinpoints products exactly depending on the search parameters entered. The search utility we built has enabled NuSil customers to easily find the right product for their requirements.

Combining state-of-the-art ASP.NET web programming technology with a SQL Server 2000 database we created a tailor-made search utility. Users enter one or more keywords. The utility returns a list of matches ordered according to significance. Each match links to a web page containing a list of NuSil products. The product flagged as matching the user’s keywords is highlighted and described in greater detail.
