The Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra Offers FREE in-school performances

Lecture-demonstrations by musicians of the SBCO will be presented in back-to-back, 25 minute performances (one for K-3 and one for 4-6) for a total time frame of one hour.  All teachers will receive our booklet “A Peek into Music” to help them prepare for the performance, and 4^th through 6^th grade teachers will receive a short quiz to help them evaluate students’ retention.

Concerts are scheduled on a first-come-first served basis and are offered to all Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Carpinteria schools.

Please call Molly Buzick at (805) 966-2441 or e-mail molly@sbco.org by February 15th and provide the following information:

1) Primary contact person name, phone, and e-mail

2) First, second, and third choices for time slots (see availability below)

3) Total number of students attending both performances

4) Total number of students grades 4-6

(Note: each one hour time frame contains two performances – one for the younger grades and one for the older grades with a 10 minute break between the two.)
